BULK DATA DELIVERY

  • UAVisus Technology Limited has established a reputation for the collection of massive datasets that encompass entire regions. We collect this data with a keen awareness of timelines, data accuracy, and client expectations. Quality data collection and delivery are the foundation upon which analytic insight and geospatial understanding are built. The data may be delivered in a variety of forms other than the native data format, such as ESRI surface files, ASCII text files, etc. This data is typically shipped via hard drive to clients, who will then use it for further analysis.

GREENFIELD SURVEY

  • A Greenfield survey is the capture of baseline data for the planning and construction of utility assets where none currently exist. In most cases, this is differentiated from "Bulk Data Delivery" by the fact that derived data is created from baseline data, and some analytics are produced in support of the design and construction of assets. Some derived and analytic elements may include: identification of water or wetlands, locating overhead crossing wires, quantification of vegetation, slope characteristics, or placeholder asset siting.

PLANIMETRIC MAPS

  • Planimetric features include both man-made and natural elements, represented as lines, polygons, or points. LiDAR point clouds provide higher precision than traditional stereoscopic methods, revealing ground features beneath vegetation. UAVisus Technology Limited uses in-house tools to convert LiDAR point classes into accurate planimetric shapes, ensuring high detail and accuracy. Our continuous planimetric maps, derived from 20ppsm LiDAR, typically include vegetation, buildings, roads, railroads, fences, walls, and water features. Custom attributes, such as height, area, or specific data, can also be added for enhanced engineering and analysis.

Above Ground Pipeline Integrity Analysis

System-wide elevation measurements along pipeline tops can

detect pipes deflecting beyond established tolerances with high

accuracy. Annual surveys track movement, aiding in planning and

prioritizing mitigation efforts. Mapping above-ground oil pipelines

and conducting integrity analysis can identify supports sinking or

shifting due to freeze/thaw cycles or terrain movements. 


UAVisus Technology Limited collects high-density airborne LiDAR data,

comparing horizontal support members (HSMs) to client pipeline

databases. Vectors are created in Bentley MicroStation for each

HSM identified in the LiDAR point cloud, and the tilt angle is

calculated to identify structures at risk of causing pipeline failure

due to frost heave or permafrost thaw.

Agricultural Insurance Assessment Using Drone Imagery

We provide agricultural insurance services supported by drone-based visual assessments. Captured on August 7, 2024, the image shows a wildlife-damaged field with an affected area of 8.284 acres. The blue-shaded region indicates a wildlife trail. Based on the extent of the damage, the field can be classified as a total or partial loss, enabling insurance providers to offer appropriate compensation.

This platform will include mapping and attribution of remote utility access roads, even those not captured in existing map services (e.g., Google). We will identify access roads, their construction materials, and conditions to build an asset navigation database for “last-mile” routing, maintenance planning, response time calculation, and alternate route navigation.

  • Change detection isolates identifiable features captured by remotely sensed data year-over-year, enabling the evaluation of maintenance effectiveness. With an accuracy of ~5-10cm, our data allows for detailed change detection.
