The ideal candidate will have a diploma in electronics or wireless communications engineering technology, with hands-on experience testing, installing, programming, and repairing communication equipment and systems used in UAVs. You should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, a can-do attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Program, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair UAV communication equipment directly on-site.
Perform diagnostics to ensure optimal UAV communication system performance.
Use multimeters to test various functionality parameters and operate spectrum analyzers for UAV systems.
Follow electrical wiring codes and best practices to ensure safe and efficient operations of UAV systems.
Utilize hand and power tools, test equipment, and design/fabrication techniques for UAV system installations and repairs.

Must Haves

2-year diploma in electronics or communications engineering technology, or a related field, with 2 years of work experience; or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in electronics combined with related work experience.
Basic diagnostic and programming skills, specifically for UAV communication systems.
Ability to use a multimeter to test UAV functionality and operate a spectrum analyzer.
Knowledge of electrical wiring codes and best practices in UAV systems.
Proficient with hand and power tools, test equipment, and design/fabrication techniques used in UAV systems.

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside some of the best surveyors in the industry, our Field Surveyors are self-motivated professionals who take pride in their work. They are eager to grow and expand their careers in the Survey Industry, continuously learning through hands-on experience as well as theoretical knowledge. The ideal candidate is physically fit, enjoys working outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions, and is committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for survey operations.
Prepare documentation for survey activities, including Survey Field Notes.
Carry out various types of survey work with precision and efficiency.
Maintain strong communication with the Project Manager and field staff.
Actively participate in the Quality Program, driving continuous improvement in processes and procedures.
Ensure field equipment and vehicles are safe and in good working order.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in land surveying.
Legal/Municipal survey experience is an asset.
Geomatics Technician diploma or equivalent is a plus.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License (with a clean 5-year abstract).
Ability to read and understand maps and drawings.
Knowledge and experience working with Trimble GPS and Total Station equipment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills and ability to use survey-related software.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and care.
Ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
Strong work ethic and proven reliability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to learn, take direction, and accept coaching feedback.
